About me

I work with clients based on a short-term solution-focused approach.

During sessions, I also use tools and methods I learned while attending other courses, including the systems approach, coherence therapy and the academy of holistic healing. I enrich my office work with techniques for working with the body, drawing on the experience I gained from exploring yoga practice.

The standard follows is freedom and respect for the clients

I help by drawing from my own experience of therapy and personal development. I know what experiencing a crisis is associated with. I went through my own therapy, and I believe that this process was crucial to stand in full strength to help others.

For me, personal development is a constantly surprising process that accompanies each of us for the rest of our lives.

Being a psychologist, a therapist is my most important, consciously chosen career path that I am most happy with. My previous work experience includes 7 years of duty as a police officer and working in a corporation.

I gained professional experience working with adults, adolescents and children in an addiction treatment center, associations and centers that provide psychological assistance, and in a public school in Spain.

Solution-Focused Therapy Approach

Solution Focused Therapy (SFT – Solution Focused Therapy), also known as Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), is a goal-oriented and pragmatic approach to therapy that focuses on solutions rather than problems. Solution Focused Brief Therapy is particularly useful for clients seeking quick, practical solutions to specific problems and those who do not want to commit to long-term therapy. It can be used for a wide range of problems, including relationship problems, substance abuse, depression and others. Its focus on positive change and future possibilities makes it a valuable approach in counseling and psychotherapy. Developed by Steve de Shazer and Insoo Kim Berg in the 1980s in Milwaukee (USA).

Philosophy of the approach

 If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it:

Once you know what works, do more of it;

If it doesn’t work then don’t do it again, do something different.
